Course Information
The Quadrant Pilot B737 Type Rating course is designed to give you a comprehensive introduction to the new aircraft, whether this is your first multi crew type rating or a new additional aircraft type. Comprising instructor-led groundschool and computer-based training followed by practical flight training in full motion simulators, our course will prepare you fully for the next phase in your flying career.
Course Information
On successful completion of the course and your License Skill Test (LST), we will issue you with a course completion certificate and a full set of detailed training records. Our experienced instructors and examiners will be on hand every step of the way to offer you the necessary guidance and support.

Course Design
The usual course breakdown is as follows:
- Ground School – 12 days
- Fixed Base Simulator – 4 days
- Full Flight Simulator – 8 days
- Licence Skills Test – 1 day
Before starting our type rating courses, you will need to:
- Hold a valid Multi Engine Instrument Rating (ME-IR)
- Hold at least a valid Commercial Pilots License, (CPL) (A) and multi-engine instrument rating (IR) issued in accordance with applicable ICAO/EASA standards
- Hold a certificate of satisfactory completion of a Multi Crew Cooperation (MCC) course and have theoretical knowledge equal to the requirements for an ATPL (A)
- Have at least 70 hours as pilot-in-command of airplanes
- Hold a class 1 medical
- Possess a standard of English language compliant with ICAO Level 4 English language proficiency requirements
- Complete the pre-assessment/trainee form and provide copies of medical, required licenses, ratings and log book
N.B: These criteria are based on Part FCL requirements. Previous experience may be taken into consideration with approval from the CAA.
