Our new Airline Pilot Standards Multi-Crew Cooperation Course Plus (APS MCC+) goes beyond conventional APS MCC training and far beyond the regulatory minimum, combining full flight simulator training, competency-informed development, targeted coaching and a dedicated airline operations day in the world’s first AI-enabled A320 simulator to deliver the highest standard of preparation for pilots entering airline careers.

Why is the APS MCC+ Different?

Most APS MCC courses focus on meeting the expected airline requirement. APS MCC+ focuses on preparing the pilot.

APS MCC+ bridges the gap between training completion and airline readiness, going beyond minimum compliance to develop the judgement, behaviours and professionalism airlines expect from day one.

Key differences include: 

Competency‑Informed Training 

Structured pre and post course competency questionnaires build self‑awareness, identify individual strengths and target personal development throughout the course. 

Integrated SOP Development 

Ground school is delivered alongside Cockpit Procedure Trainer (CPT) sessions, embedding airline‑style SOP discipline, role clarity and call‑out standards from the very start of training. 

Targeted Simulator Coaching 

Simulator sessions follow the approved APS MCC syllabus but are coached to develop real multi‑crew behaviours — communication, monitoring, leadership and decision‑making — not just task completion. 

Airline Operations Immersion 

A dedicated final‑day experience at Infinity Sim Wings exposes trainees to airline operations and includes a line‑oriented simulator flight using real time ATC, weather and traffic providing a realistic insight into
airline flying and decision‑making.

Instead, it prepares pilots for how airlines actually select and train by:

  • Airline styled selection criteria 

The result is a graduate who is confident, credible and ready for airline selection processes.

Quadrant Systems, trading as Quadrant Pilot, is an Approved Training Organisation (GBR.ATO.0500) regulated by the UK Civil Aviation Authority.

Training is delivered on A320 and B737 NG Level D Full Flight Simulators, allowing pilots to train in the same environment used for Type Rating, License Proficiency Checks (LPC) and Line Oriented Evaluation (LOE). This helps ease the upward transition to becoming fully Type Rated on either the A320 or B737 NG.

Together, this partnership delivers an APS MCC course designed from the outset to go far beyond the regulatory minimum, offering a level of preparation and professional development beyond that of conventional APS MCC courses.

Course structure

Ground school training (4 days/32 hours)

  • Ground school is delivered alongside Cockpit Procedure Training (CPT) sessions, embedding airline-style SOP discipline, role clarity and call-out standards from the very start of training.

Practical advanced flight training in Full Flight Simulators (40 hours/10 days)

  • 40 hours of simulator training on Full Flight Simulators
  • Last 20 hours include Advanced Line Operations training with real-time ATC, live weather and traffic to provide insight into operational decision-making in a highly realistic environment.

Airline operations immersion day (1 day)

SFI TRI

  • 2 full flights in an advanced A320 simulator
  • Real SOPs, checklists and operational decision-making

All courses begin before you step through the door, with completion of  the InfinityACT competency assessment — unique to Infinity Sim Wings. This provides our experienced coaches with valuable behavioural insight, allowing training to be tailored to each pilot’s individual development needs.

As a result, pilots leave APS MCC+ better prepared to demonstrate the higher level of competence required to pass the APS Assessment of Competence (AoC), strengthening their credibility and making them more attractive to prospective airline employers.
