Project Description
Course information
Who is the APS MCC+ for?
The APS MCC+ is aimed at pilots who:
- Are serious about airline employment
- Want to be credible at interview and assessment
- Understand that preparation matters more than regulatory compliance
- Are willing to invest in their professional transition
It is particularly suited to:
- Self‑sponsored cadets
- Integrated or modular graduates

- Pilots entering airline selection or Type Rating without sponsorship
Airline readiness, not airline promises
APS MCC+ does not offer airline contacts or recruitment guarantees.
Instead, it prepares pilots for how airlines actually select and train by:
- Aligning training language with airline competency frameworks
- Developing behavioural credibility and coachability
- Providing exposure to airline‑style operations and decision‑making
- Airline styled selection criteria
The result is a graduate who is confident, credible and ready for airline selection processes.
Why the APS MCC+ is worth it
Human error, miscommunication, and ineffective crew interaction are all factors that influence operational performance. Whilst the APS MCC prepares pilots to address these areas, APS MCC+ takes a further step by identifying the specific competencies each individual pilot needs to develop. By applying behavioural insight, structured assessment, and Artificial Intelligence, the programme builds confidence in the cockpit and enables you to operate more effectively as part of a professional flight crew.
APS MCC+ includes elements which go beyond the standard APS MCC course:
- Two structured competency diagnostics (pre and post course)
- Extensive use of CPT during ground training
- Use of Full Flight simulators in LOFT training session
- Targeted simulator coaching
- A full airline operations immersion day at Infinity Wings
- An advanced line‑oriented simulator experience with real time ATC, weather and operations
Trainees are investing in employability, confidence and readiness — providing a solid foundation to their airline careers.
What sets us apart
The APS MCC+ course combines Quadrant Pilot’s regulatory credibility, structured oversight, full flight simulator capability and mature training governance with Infinity Sim Wings’ behavioural expertise, coaching capability, individual development focus and advanced simulation technology.
Quadrant Systems, trading as Quadrant Pilot, is an Approved Training Organisation (GBR.ATO.0500) regulated by the UK Civil Aviation Authority.
Training is delivered on A320 and B737 NG Level D Full Flight Simulators, allowing pilots to train in the same environment used for Type Rating, License Proficiency Checks (LPC) and Line Oriented Evaluation (LOE). This helps ease the upward transition to becoming fully Type Rated on either the A320 or B737 NG.
Together, this partnership delivers an APS MCC course designed from the outset to go far beyond the regulatory minimum, offering a level of preparation and professional development beyond that of conventional APS MCC courses.
The Quadrant Pilot & Infinity Sim Wings Advantage
Quadrant Pilot provides:

- Regulatory credibility and structured oversight
- Access to A320 and B737 full flight simulators
- Efficient use of Fixed Base simulators for APS‑MCC training
- Full Flight Simulators reserved for realistic LOFT scenarios
Infinity Sim Wings brings:
- Behavioural expertise and coaching depth
- Interview and assessment‑aligned development
- Immersive airline‑style simulation environments
Together, they deliver a level of realism, professionalism and preparation not available in conventional APS MCC courses.
APS MCC+ is designed for pilots who want to leave training ready to be selected, trained and trusted in an airline environment.
If your goal is to be airline‑ready, APS MCC+ is built for you.
Course structure
Ground school training (4 days/32 hours)
- Ground school is delivered alongside Cockpit Procedure Training (CPT) sessions, embedding airline-style SOP discipline, role clarity and call-out standards from the very start of training.
Practical advanced flight training in Full Flight Simulators (40 hours/10 days)
- 40 hours of simulator training on Full Flight Simulators
- Last 20 hours include Advanced Line Operations training with real-time ATC, live weather and traffic to provide insight into operational decision-making in a highly realistic environment.
Airline operations immersion day (1 day)

- 2 full flights in an advanced A320 simulator
- Real SOPs, checklists and operational decision-making
All courses begin before you step through the door, with completion of the InfinityACT competency assessment — unique to Infinity Sim Wings. This provides our experienced coaches with valuable behavioural insight, allowing training to be tailored to each pilot’s individual development needs.
As a result, pilots leave APS MCC+ better prepared to demonstrate the higher level of competence required to pass the APS Assessment of Competence (AoC), strengthening their credibility and making them more attractive to prospective airline employers.
